PARIS TRAVEL AND CORONAVIRUS

With nearly 200 cases of coronavirus — COVID 19 — as of this writing, hesitation to travel to Paris is justified. We get it, but keep the panic in check. If you are a healthy individual, you probably don’t need to fear getting sick. Your travels, however, may be disrupted by other issues.

Institutions like the Louvre have closed and events like the Paris Half Marathon have been canceled. It could seem like a turbulent time in the very near future to visit, but don’t go canceling your trip just yet. We’ve been welcoming guests on tour and it’s been business as usual for us, so don’t think the panic is too extreme just yet.

Sure, there are fewer Italian and Chinese tourists in town, but major attractions like Disneyland and the Eiffel Tower are maintaining business as usual. Keep up with the news if you’re planning on coming to Paris, but know that if you schedule a tour with us, we’ll be ready to hit the streets — but perhaps keep out of the saunas for a bit :).
